Earlier to IIITM, I worked as a faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology (CSIT) department of G. G. University (a central university), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. At CSIT, I have established various laboratories and also worked in various academic cum administrative capacities. During my stay at G. G. University, I have completed a mega project (Rs. 100 Lakh) of Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. of India, on Content creation and IT Localization Network as Chief Investigator of the project. I have post doctoral experience in India and Abroad (Sweden, Italy, Japan and USA) in various capacities. This experience in different domains of Physics has produced number of International and National Publications, includes the regular referred papers in journals, conference, seminars. Besides my expertise in computational physics, I have also contributed to Information Technology area, since my joining as Lecturer IT in 2002 at G. G. U. Bilaspur. I have contributed to few e-books in Hindi (Unicode) on different subjects of Information Technology and guided number of software development projects. This has resulted into three significant awards in consecutive years; Excellence award in e-governance by M.P. Govt. in 2009, TGMC award as Best in state category in 2010 by IBM and Finalist for NASSCOM ICT Honours 2011 by NASSCOM Foundation, GOI. .
